Day 1, and we hardly wake up before heading to the beach. (I am editing these in a glary cafe on Silver Lake Boulevard, so forgive the bad Photoshopping. And man, I really need to clean this Macbook screen....)

Goodbye, New York (but hellooooo new camera)

Despite preparing to leave sunny NYC for LA, I spent half my paycheque on a coveted Canon 5D (Classic, that is, not MkII, and dammit I don't care). I'm still getting used to the new baby, but the potential image quality is already blowing me away...

Hoboken, NJ, home of Frank Sinatra (Kat adds, "and the home of the most organised crime in the tri-state area) and... the St Ann's Italian Festival.  Which I have to say, had the best. pizza. ever.
